Winter! When you live in the Midwest like I do, winter means dry air, cold air, and chapped skin! I work in a preschool, so I am constantly washing my hands since winter also means flu season! I try to make sure I dry them sufficiently and wear gloves outside; but try as I may, I still get chapped hands in the winter.

Usually every lotion or moisturizer I try burns my hands because they are so sensitive. Well, thankfully I was contacted by Udderly Smooth to do a review of their product line. This has helped my hands tremendously! When I first tried the Udder Cream on my hands, I have to be honest, it did burn a little. But since that first time, my hands have never again burned. I think that since my hands were so chapped that the little bit of fragrance in the product set off that reaction. Now, I use it constantly and love it!

I love the texture of Udderly Smooth. It does not feel like any lotion I've ever used. It is really silky. The consistency sort of reminds me of that "really popular face cream from the 70's" my mom used when I was a little girl. It's lighter and fluffier than that though. That's the only way I can describe it :) It absorbs into your skin right away. It's helped keep my body from itching from dry skin. My daughter loves it too. She's hogging it all!

The feeling of the Shea Butter Foot Cream is also really light and silky. It isn't the same texture as the body cream. It's a bit heavier since your feet are usually rougher than your hands. The addition of the shea butter gives it that silky smooth texture. I have used it several times and already feel a difference in my feet. I can't wait for flip-flop season to get here since I know using this product will prevent my heels from getting all rough and nasty!

Udderly Smooth was originally developed by Bill Kennedy Sr. ,a pharmacist, to soothe and soften cow's udders during harsh winters. It is actually made about 45 minutes from where I live! That was a surprise to me when I read the packaging! Well, people soon discovered that it works just as well on human skin as it does on cows! I know I've tried other products made originally for cows, and I do not like them. They are way too thick and sticky! Thank goodness for Udderly Smooth!
